Sam Abdelmalek appointed as Bombardier’s Chief Transformation and Supply Chain Officer
The Canadian aerospace manufacturer, Bombardier, has announced the appointment of its new Chief Transformation and Supply Chain Officer.
Sam Abdelmalek will report the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Alain Bellemare.

“He is a strong and dynamic leader, with a proven track record of creating value through effective supply chain management and process improvement at large industrial companies.”

Abdelmalek will be responsible for managing Bombardier’s operational transformation, as well as aiming to reduce costs and improve efficiencies in its supply chain.
The new officer has almost 30 years of experience within the supply chain roles, having worked for Bell Helicopter’s Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain unit for 12 years.
Following this role, Abdelmalek became the Vice President of Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing at Danfoss Turbocor, to then become the Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Pratt & Whitey Canada and then United Technologies.
Prior to his new position, effective 10 October, Abdelmalek served as the Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Pratt & Whitey.
