PwC & o9 Solutions combine on supply chain services

PwC US to work with AI platfrom specialis o9 Solutions, to help deliver smarter supply chain decision-making to customers

AI software specialist o9 Solutions has struck a strategic supply chain alliance with PwC US, the companies have announced.

The alliance combines PwC's technical capabilities and o9’ Solutions AI-based supply chain management solution, called the ‘Digital Brain'. PwC US will work as o9 Solutions' Digital Brain integrating partner in the market. 

Areas of focus will be commercial planning, forecasting, demand and supply management, and integrated business planning. 

The companies say that the partnership will enable clients to accelerate their supply chain transformation agendas and optimise planning and decision-making. 

The platform works by helping companies transform siloed planning into “smart, integrated and intelligent planning and decision making across the core supply chain. 

O9 Solutions' Digital Brain benefits

The companies say it will help organisations:

  • Detect demand and supply risks and opportunities earlier
  • Forecast demand more accurately
  • Evaluate what-if scenarios in real time
  • Match demand and supply intelligently 
  • Drive collaboration among customers, internal stakeholders and suppliers 

o9 Solutions says the platform will be supported by a global ecosystem of partners to help companies “achieve quick impact in customer service, inventory levels, resource utilisation and ESG KPIs”.

PwC Operations Transformation Principal Mike Couwenhoven says: “The o9 platform will help PwC’s clients transform their supply chain, commercial and financial operations in a time of volatility and increased complexity. 

“The alliance will enable better and faster planning and decision-making at scale.”
