Sean Wu, Former SVP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at 3M
Sean is a seasoned leader who has acquired an abundance of experience in stakeholder management, strategic planning and organisational development in the supply chain and manufacturing sectors.
At 3M, Sean oversaw operations that supported a US$9bn business as its APAC Manufacturing and Supply Chain SVP/VP. He also managed SAP launches in several countries, was influential in performance recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and global supply chain crisis and managed the transformation of 3M’s enterprise supply chain.
At Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE Singapore, Sean will feature on our Procurement & Supply Chain Strategies panel alongside Hélène Trinh, Vice President of Supply Chain Planning at Schneider Electric, Ajith Gopinath, Director of AMEA Procurement at Mondelēz International, and Jayanandhan Vasudevan, Senior Director of Supply Chain Management at DKSH.
This panel discussion will spotlight the importance procurement and supply chain strategies have in improving efficiency, optimising costs and maintaining resilience amid global disruptions.
In doing so, organisations can adapt to evolving market conditions, create value and maintain their competitive edge.
On his participation in the event, Sean said: “I am inspired by the opportunity to learn, share knowledge, and network with diverse professionals at Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE Singapore. Although the specific focus of my keynote/panel is yet to be decided, it will address key issues and innovations in the sector. Through the event, I hope to gain insights from peers on the latest supply chain trends and improve our practices.
“Over the next decade, I believe that increased integration across supply chains, greater adoption of advanced technologies like AI and blockchain, and a shift towards less globalisation with more localised supply chains will shape the industry's future.”
