ProcureCon Asia: who is Wendy Zheng?
Supply Chain Digital travelled to London to speak with Wendy Zheng, Head of Marketing at WBR APAC, to find out more about ProcureCon Asia.

Zheng leads the marketing team for WBR Asia. The company has offices in London, New York, Toronto and Singapore, and oversees several different events, most notably ProcureCon Asia. Zheng believes her university days provided the spark which led to her passion for marketing and events. “While I was at university, event management was one of my favourite subjects and I really enjoyed it,” she explains. “After I won a top project in event planning, my professor hired me upon graduation and I got into an events agency. This allowed me to start conceptualising, budgeting, managing clients and ultimately plan the events. In a small company, you learn to get creative and get things done with tight resources.”
Zheng believes that her role allows her enthusiasm for marketing and events to shine through. “This entrepreneurial spirit has been something that has carried me a long way from where I started,” says Zheng. “I have a constant hunger for learning and it got me into digital marketing too. WBR has been the perfect recipe for bringing my passion for events and marketing together.”
