Maersk partners with JDA Software to accelerate digitisation
Global shipping company, Maersk, has announced a partnership with US-based software giants, JDA Software, as part of its digital transformation strategy.
Maersk will be supported by JDA in its ambition to provide visibility throughout the supply chain in order to improve on-time performance, adapt to real-world disruptions and simplify its customer’s supply chains.
As a leading integrated container logistics company with operations in 130 countries, Maersk collaborates with customers with a simple offering of products and services, seamless customer engagement and a superior end-to-end delivery network, which takes the complexity out of global supply chains.
The shipping firm will initially roll out cloud-based JDA Warehouse Management at one of its Europe sites, Gothenburg, and the US, Newark and Santa Fe, with it set to develop the template for the global implementation across Maersk warehouse facilities later this year.
