Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE is excited to announce the addition of four new speakers who will feature at London's premier industry event.

Andrew New, CEO at NHS Supply Chain

Andrew joined NHS Supply Chain as CEO in September 2021 and has led the organisation in developing a modern and agile supply chain.

Under his leadership, a new operating model was designed to realign the organisation with the changing needs of the NHS. This involved enhancing critical capabilities and standardising and integrating ways of working.

NHS Supply Chain’s strategy aims to buy smart, supply right, and partner expertly, making it easier for the NHS to prioritise patient care. Before NHS Supply Chain, Andrew held senior roles at JCB, Magnox Ltd, and Babcock International Group PLC.

He has an MBA and a BSc in Chemical Physics from the University of Bristol.

Sophie Drakopoulos, Global Ocean Freight Sustainability Manager at DB Schenker

Sophie is a sustainability enthusiast driving eco-friendly solutions within DB Schenker Ocean Freight.

With more than eight years in freight forwarding, she holds bachelor's and master's degrees in economics, specialising in logistics.

Based in DB Schenker's Hamburg team, Sophie focuses on sustainability and has completed an additional Master’s in Sustainability at Kühne Logistics University. Her pragmatic approach and analytical skills fuel her commitment to advancing maritime sustainability through collaboration with industry experts.

Alexander Tschentscher, Head of Supply Chain & Logistics Strategy at Siemens

Alexander is responsible for the supply chain of the future in Siemens' Industrial Business: Smart Infrastructure.

As Head of Supply Chain Excellence and leader of the Program Management Office Supply Chain Strategy, he drives the strategic direction of Supply Chain & Logistics.

In his previous role at Siemens, Alexander handled logistics and procurement for the Smart Infrastructure Business Unit: Distribution Systems. He is known for culture transformation, motivating change, and creating new initiatives across various roles, including Management Consulting, Procurement & Commodity Management, Project Management, and Logistics.

Alexander holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. He is based in Munich, Germany, with his family.
