“Disrupting Sustainability in Hospitality and Events” – In this keynote from Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE, Quentin Remy, Head of Global Procurement and Strategic Sourcing at MCI Group, shares how the company is transforming sustainability in the events and hospitality sectors through its supply chain. Remy outlines the challenges of navigating more than 200 complex sustainability certifications and the disconnect between travellers' stated preferences and actual booking behaviour. In response, MCI developed a simplified ESG assessment tool, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, to evaluate hotel partners before contracts are signed.
